GETTING INVOLVED


Worship involves every area of our lives, every day of the week. It involves loving others, forgiving others, and serving others - all in the name of Christ. It’s something that we cannot do alone, or just on a Sunday. We believe that our worship should overflow into walking with others, and working with God in His redemption process.

As we walk through life, we need help. Our Small Groups are about people who want to live for God helping other people who want to live for God. Here are a list of the Small Groups currently running at LHF:

Community Groups - meet around the Lower Mainland for food, fun, and fellowship (growing together). All of our CGs are loosely based on region, though anyone can join any group if it fits your schedule/location better. Contact the facilitator listed for more info.

  • BuVa [Clark] - Vancouver + Burnaby
  • NupoBuco [Ray] - North Van, Port Moody, Burnaby, Coquitlam 
  • SuLa [Caroline] - Surrey, Langley + Blaine

Focus Groups - are centred around a particular topic. We have two groups that are on-going:

Prayer Team [Yoon] - (2 Fri/mo.) meets for prayer, sharing and training. The team meets at 6pm, all are welcome to receive prayer and pray with the team at 7pm.

Reading + Reflection [Ileun] - (Weds) meets for a series of 3-4 Wednesdays studying a particular book or theme in Scripture and how it speaks into our lives.

A healthy body requires all of the parts to work together. Our hope is that everyone is able to discover their gifts and passions as an act of worship and service to God.

There are many ways that you can help out. From setting up chairs to singing on the music team, we believe that ALL of it is worship to God. If you would like to know more about some of the areas in which you can serve; or if you would like help in discovering your gifts, passions or experiment in trying something new, please contact one of the pastors.
